We all experience periods of emotional distress, pain, and suffering. Your pain may be acute, related to a challenging relationship, a work or life transition, a tragedy or trauma, or perhaps your suffering is more sustained–persistent feelings of shame or guilt, or a sustained sense of anxiety or sadness. Whatever the issue, the ultimate goal of counseling will be for you to alleviate your suffering by creating positive, lasting change or movement–in the ways that you feel, think, and act. I utilize a variety of therapeutic orientations and techniques to propel you toward your specific goals,. You and I will work together in a supportive and genuine process to enhance your self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-esteem, to help you recognize and access your power and ability to create the change that you seek.
